Ideal Vacuum Cube High-Temperature Chemical-Resistant Hardware Kit for 6 x 6 x 6 Chamber, Includes Kalrez O-rings And Plate Mounting Screws.
This Ideal Vacuum Cube hardware kit has Kalrez O-rings, needed when constructing a high temperature and chemical resistant 6 x 6 x 6 chamber. The 6 x 6 x 6 Cube frame takes six 9" x 9" plates to complete it (P106861). This kit includes Kalrez O-rings for all the 6 x 6" plates and the 1/4"-20 x 5/16" long stainless steel socket head cap screws (SHCS) needed to mount the plates on the frame. Kalrez O-rings can be baked up to 275° C. The socket head cap screws (SHCS) are made of 18-8 stainless steel.
Note: Making use of the high-temperature capabilities of these Kalrez o-ring replacement kits will require the use of uncoated, bare-metal 6 x 6 plates. The blue powder coated plates will not withstand repeated exposure to temperatures above 150° C without fading and discoloration. It is also suggested to use anti-seize lubricant, such as Loctite LB 8009 (P109024) on the mounting screws to keep them from galling.
This kit also includes a 8 spare plate mounting screws.
