Ideal Vacuum Cube 6 x 6 x 2.5 Mini Vacuum Chamber with One KF-16 (NW-16) Port.
This is an Ideal Vacuum Cube 6 x 6 inch Mini Vacuum Chamber. The chamber is 2.5" tall, and accepts any 6 x 6 inch Cube plate. A KF-16 bulkhead port is machined into one side. The plate is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and is uncoated for bakeout to 150°C, the limit of the Viton sealing O-ring. It has an internal 3.0" x 3.0" optical breadboard for mounting test items or fixtures. The back of the chamber has 1/4-20 threaded holes on 5 x 5 inch centers for mounting the chamber.
SInce a bulkhead KF fitting does not have a flange, this type of connection cannot use a standard KF clamp. Bulkhead KF clamps are secured to the plate with screws. To attach a KF-16 flanged component to the KF-16 bulkhead fitting, use a standard KF-16 centering ring (P101242) and bulkhead clamp (P108101 or P104598).
