The MKS 179C is an all-metal mass flow controller designed to measure the flow of gases in a wide variety of applications. Input and output connections are Swagelok® 4 VCR® The MKS 179C mass flow controllers are available with full scales from 10 sccm to 20 slm, providing fast, repeatable flow metering to as low as 0.1 sccm.The 179C is a direct form-fit-function replacement for the most common mass flow meters on the market today. The standard 3-inch footprint enables the 179C to drop directly into the same space without modifying existing gas lines. Pressure Range for this unit is 10 torr, 1000 sccm/1 slm flow, min range 2% of full range to 0.2 torr, Swagelok® 4 VCR® connections and Viton® Seals. The transducer is a Baratron® capacitance manometer, with Full Scale pressure ranges from 100 psi to as low as 10 Torr. Baratron capacitance manometers – well-known for their percent of reading accuracy, stability, and resolution – provide precise measurements at lower pressures and over wider dynamic ranges than strain gauge transducers.
