Ideal Vacuum Cube 6 x 6 x 6 in. Aluminum Vacuum Chamber Frame. This is a 6 x 6 x 6 inch bare vacuum Cube frame, the core of an Ideal Vacuum Cube modular chamber. It is machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum so there are no welds to leak or break. Inner frame dimensions are 4.1 x 4.1 x 4.1 inches. A Cube plate, with or without ports, is mounted to each of the six frame sides with 1/4"-20 stainless steel screws. The frame has drilled and tapped holes which accept the mounting screws. Once all six plates are installed, the chamber is complete. The plates can be removed, replaced, or reused as needed to reconfigure the chamber to new requirements. Mounting holes are reinforced with stainless steel inserts so Cube plates can be swapped without fear of damaging the frame. This adapter allows the compact connection of an ISO-F 63 gate valve (with tapped mounting holes) to an Ideal Vacuum Cube™, without additional plumbing or fittings. The adapter consists of two plates. One plate has our patented Taper-Seal™ O-ring seal and is mounted to the Cube frame. The other plate is mounted to the gate valve’s threaded flange. An ISO 63 centering ring with O-ring is sandwiched between the two plates which are then screwed together to make the seal. This adapter kit can be used to isolate a turbomolecular pump from the chamber. It creates the shortest possible pumping path for maximum high vacuum performance.
