Ideal Vacuum Cube 6 x 6 x 12 in. Aluminum Hexagonal Vacuum Chamber Frame. This is a 6 x 6 x 12 inch bare hexagonal vacuum Cube frame, the core of an Ideal Vacuum Cube modular chamber. It is machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum so there are no welds to leak or break. The top and bottom are integral to the frame. A 6 x 12 in. Cube plate, with or without ports, is mounted to each of the six frame sides. The top and bottom accept 6 x 6 in. plates. Plates are mounted with 1/4"-20 stainless steel screws. The frame has drilled and tapped holes which accept the mounting screws. Once all eight plates are installed, the chamber is complete. The plates can be removed, replaced, or reused as needed to reconfigure the chamber to new requirements. Mounting holes are reinforced with stainless steel inserts so Cube plates can be swapped without fear of damaging the frame.
