Ideal Vacuum Cube 15 x 15 x 6 in. Aluminum Octagonal Vacuum Chamber Frame. This is a 15 x 15 x 6 inch bare octagonal vacuum Cube frame, the core of an Ideal Vacuum Cube modular chamber. It is machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum so there are no welds to leak or break. Eight, side-mounted 6 x 6 in. Cube plates, and 15 x 15 in. octagonal top and bottom plates are mounted to the frame. Plates are mounted with 1/4"-20 stainless steel screws. The frame has drilled and tapped holes which accept the mounting screws. Once all ten plates are installed, the chamber is complete. The plates can be removed, replaced, or reused as needed to reconfigure the chamber to new requirements. Mounting holes are reinforced with stainless steel inserts so Cube plates can be swapped without fear of damaging the frame. The top and bottom 15 in. octagonal plates may be blank (P1013090), or be adapter plates that accept a 6 x 6 plate (P1013088), a 9 x 9 plate (P1013043), or a 6 x 12 plate (P1013089).
