This is a non-thermally isolated Ideal Vacuum Cube 9 x 9 inch TVAC plate with 3/8” OD fluid tubes. This plate allows the vacuum side of the plate to be thermally controlled by circulating hot or cold fluids through its stainless steel tubes and internal cavity. The operating range of this plate is 150°C to -26°C (302°F to -15°F). This thermal vacuum Cube plate allows the Ideal Vacuum Cube to be used as a thermal vacuum or thermal shock vacuum chamber. It can also function as a chilled trap for chemical and high boiling point liquids. Multiple TVAC plates may be mounted to a Cube and plumbed together to enhance temperature control capability. Fluid is commonly supplied by a recirculating heater or chiller such as those made by Thermo Scientific, Neslab, and Huber. Insulated supply and return hoses connect the heater/chiller system to the thermal plate with 3/8" OD tube fittings. Ideal Vacuum Cube 9 x 9 in. Gate Valve Adapter Plate Kit ISO-F 100. This is an ISO-F 100 gate valve adapter plate kit for the 9 x 9 Ideal Vacuum Cube. This adapter allows the compact connection of an ISO-F 100 gate valve (with tapped mounting holes) to an Ideal Vacuum Cube™, without additional plumbing or fittings. The adapter consists of two plates. One plate has our patented Taper-Seal™ O-ring seal and is mounted to the Cube frame. The other plate is mounted to the gate valve’s threaded flange. An ISO 100 centering ring with O-ring is sandwiched between the two plates which are then screwed together to make the seal. This adapter kit can be used to isolate a turbomolecular pump from the chamber. It creates the shortest possible pumping path for maximum high vacuum performance. Another use for the gate valve adapter kit is to join two Cubes together in load lock applications. Two adapter kits are required, one on each side of the gate valve. When two cubes are joined with a gate valve between them, one Cube can be used as an antechamber to transfer materials from ambient atmosphere into the other which remains under vacuum. Similarly, when two Cubes of differing sizes are joined with a gate valve between them, the system can be used for explosive decompression testing. This adapter allows the compact connection of an ISO-F 160 gate valve (with tapped mounting holes) to an Ideal Vacuum Cube™, without additional plumbing or fittings. The adapter consists of two plates. One plate has our patented Taper-Seal™ O-ring seal and is mounted to the Cube frame. The other plate is mounted to the gate valve’s threaded flange. An ISO 160 centering ring with O-ring is sandwiched between the two plates which are then screwed together to make the seal. This adapter kit can be used to isolate a turbomolecular pump from the chamber. It creates the shortest possible pumping path for maximum high vacuum performance. Another use for the gate valve adapter kit is to join two Cubes together in load lock applications. Two adapter kits are required, one on each side of the gate valve. When two cubes are joined with a gate valve between them, one Cube can be used as an antechamber to transfer materials from ambient atmosphere into the other which remains under vacuum. Similarly, when two Cubes of differing sizes are joined with a gate valve between them, the system can be used for explosive decompression testing. Here, the larger Cube decompresses the smaller Cube. It is best to use a pneumatic gate valve since it opens more rapidly than a manually operated one.
