The coaxial roughing/foreline trap is designed specifically for use in the roughing manifolds in vacuum systems where freedom from contaminates is desired. It has a steel wool trapping media. These steel wool filled traps effectively protect vacuum systems from back-streaming roughing pump fluids. This trap can be installed vertically or horizontally.
