The Oerlikon Leybold TURBO.POWER 300 is a power supply unit for powering the frequency converter TURBO.DRIVE S with 24 VDC are used with the SL series turbo pumps. The mains input is protected by two fuses. In connection with the TURBO.DRIVE S the following turbomolecular pumps may be operated: TW 70H, TW 250S, TW 220/150, TW 220/150/15, TW 300, TW 300H, SL-80 and SL-300.

The TURBO.POWER 300 can be set up on the benchtop. After having unscrewed the feet, the unit may be installed in electrical cabinets, for example. It can be mounted using either the grooves and bores at the short sides in the bottom panel or with the aid of an adaptor the unit can be affixed to hat rails. Attach the hat rail adaptor to the bottom panel using screws.

The TURBO.POWER 300 is equipped with a fan. The cooling air enters from the top and exits the housing at the side. Maintain a clearance of at least 3 cm at the top and at the sides. Connect and affix the connecting cable between frequency converter and TURBO. POWER 300. The TURBO.POWER 300 is not equipped with a mains switch. As soon as the mains cord has been connected, the unit will power up.

The new generation of SL TURBOVAC turbomolecular pumps have improved mechanical rotor suspension and compound stage excels through a new compact design, improved vacuum performance and a standardized accessories program. The SL series pumps are among the quietest turbo pumps on the market today, the SL 80 pumps have less than 46 dB(A). The Oerlikon Leybold SL-80 with ISO-63 inlet flange has a 65 l/s pumping speed for nitrogen, can have an ultimate pressure as low as 1.5x10-10 Torr when backed with oil sealed rotary vane pump, and has a KF-16 roughing flange.

The Oerlikon Leybold TURBOVAC SL turbomolecular pumps are highly flexible regarding the controller-mounting position, which can be placed onboard, as a bench-top unit or in a rack. In addition, the pumps can be mounted in virtually any position and at any angle. The turbomolecular pumps from the TURBOVAC SL product family are designed to handle the most advanced and demanding applications and requirements in research and industry and many more applications.
