This Edwards OEM 0.6 meter long XLR 4 pin cable connects the Edwards iM Communications Module (P103634) to an iQDP, iH, or iL semiconductor vacuum pump.

The iM serial port communications module allows you to use a PLC or a computer to control the operation of and to monitor the status of an iH, iL or iQ dry pumping system through the module's internal serial communication card via RS232. For example, you can connect the Communications Module to the serial port of a PC on which you have installed a suitable SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition program). All serial information sent to or received from the Communications Module is software derived; there is no direct electrical wiring to the sensors, pumps or valves in the dry pumping system.

The communications module is connected to the Edwards iQDP, iH, or iL semiconductor vacuum pump system with this 4 pin XLR cable. The module has a serial 9 pin DIN connector for connection to the control equipment (PLC or compuer). Use a serial to USB cable to connect to a system that doesn't have a serial port (part number P1010935).
