Ideal Vacuum Cube 12 x 12 inch Thermally Isolated TVAC Chamber Plate with Resistive Heating and Built-in Type-K Thermocouple.
This is a thermally isolated Ideal Vacuum Cube 12 x 12 inch TVAC plate for high temperatures. Heat is produced by the embedded resistive heating elements in the platen. The heaters operate at 100-240 VAC and have heating power of 1050 W at 240 VAC, and 263 W at 120 VAC. The operating temperature range of this plate is from ambient to 200°C (392°F). A Type-K thermocouple is mounted through a KF-16 port for logging temperature data or for a user supplied setpoint controller to use. The KF-40 port is used to connect the heating elements to an outboard controller, such as the
Ideal Vacuum PID Plug & Play Heater Control System. This plate is uncoated and may be baked out to 150°C (the limit of the Viton O-ring). This chamber plate is designed to occupy minimal volume within the Cube envelope and may be mounted in any orientation.
The temperature controlled area on the vacuum side of this chamber plate (the platen) is 10.275" x 10.275" and made of 304L stainless steel. The platen has a standard optical breadboard with ¼-20 tapped holes on a 1” grid for mounting objects and fixtures.
