HiPace hybrid bearings are a combination of a ceramic ball bearing on the fore vacuum side and a permanent magnetic radial bearing on the high-vacuum side. This bearing technology does not require electromagnets and has an extended service life with typical maintenance intervals of approximately 4 years. This Pfeiffer HiPace 300, 300H, and 300C turbo pump oil fluid reservoir kit is used when performing Level 1 maintenance on the pump. The oil fluid reservoir lubricates the mechanical bearing at the bottom of the pump and keeps the pump operating at peak efficiency. This kit includes the oil fluid lubricant impregnated felt reservoir, O-ring, seals and bearing. The reservoir comes pre-filled with the proper amount of oil. Additional lubricant is not required. The oil fluid reservoir kit should be replaced at a minimum of every 4 years - more frequently if the pump is used under extreme operating conditions, or if the pump is exposed to unclean processes.
