Centering Ring O-Ring Replacement, Red Silicone, ISO-80 Vacuum Fitting, ISO MF LF Flange Size NW-80
These Red Silicone Replacement O-Rings follow International Standards Organization (ISO) standards and have a flange size of NW-80. ISO flanged vacuum fittings are commonly used to build process vacuum plumbing and systems for industrial applications. The fittings are quick to assemble using double claw clamps and a centering ring (please see top right figure - click to enlarge). The ISO standard sizes for LF NW ISO large flanges are NW-63, NW-80, NW-100, NW-160, NW-200, NW-250, NW-320, NW-400, NW-500, NW-630.
Silicone is a popular O Ring which is commonly red in color. The Red O Ring is made of elastomeric materials made from silicone, oxygen, hydrogen and carbon. Description: Excellent material for static service at extreme (hot or cold) temperatures.
Outstanding flex and fatigue life. Very good for ozone and UV radiation service as well as
for resistance to fungal and biological attack.
Limitations: Avoid chlorinated solvents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and petroleum oils. Silicones are generally very permeable to gases and have poor physical strength and abrasion resistance.
Temperature Range: –51° to 232°C (–60° to 450°F)
