These NEW Edwards PV16MKA Manual Right Angle Lever Operation Bellows Isolation Valves are very quick acting. The lever, connected to a self lubricating plastic cam piston, actuates the valve stem and valve plate through PTFE bearings. The valve plate 0-ring groove is vented to prevent gas bursts. This valve is designed to operate down to 10-9 mbar / 7.5 x 10-10 Torr and up to a pressure of 2100 mbar / 1575 Torr (30 psi). Leak rate of < 10- 9 mbar l s- 1 / < 7.5 x 10-10 Torr l s-1. The O-Ring is Fluoroelastomer. The molecular Conductance is 0.2 l/s and the baking temperature is 100 degrees Celcius. These right angle valves function reliably in applications ranging from semiconductor manufacturing to plasma physics research to nuclear accelerators.
