The Pfeiffer OmniControl 200 turbo pump controller can be bench top or rack mounted and is designed to operate Pfeiffer HiPace 80 Neo turbopumps with TC 80 Drive, Pfeiffer HiPace 80 and HiPace 300 turbopumps with integrated TC110 drive unit. The OmniControl 200 supplies 24 VDC at a maximum of 200 Watts to the TC 80 and TC 110 electronic drives which then power the pumps. The required connection cable between the OmniControl 200 and TC 80 or TC 110 is part number P103335 (2 M8 ports) or P1011168 (3 M8 ports) and is not included. The connection cable not only supplies power to the pump it also has M8 ports for connecting optional accessories such as a forced air-cooling kit, a solenoid vent valve, and/or a sealing gas valve. Input power to the OmniControl 200 is 115/230 VAC and a standard C14 rear-mounted socket is provided for mains power entry (power cord not included, part number P103361). A 15-pin D-Sub connector on one end of the cable plugs into the TC 110 drive unit. The D-Sub connector splits out into two cables: The 3 meter long, heavy 3 conductor cable connects to the OmniControl 200 or DCU 110 unit and supplies 24 VDC power to the TC 110 and pump. The short cable emanating from the D-Sub connector is for communications. This short cable is extended with a 3 meter long RS485 extension cable (part number P1012287) which then connects to the OmniControl 200 or DCU-110 controller, allowing it to manage all main parameters and functions of the turbo pump. The 15-pin D-Sub connector is modified to include two M8 connectors in its side.
