Ready to take your classroom skills into industry?
Ideal Vacuum Products is hiring smart, early-career educators—especially in Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry—who learn software and processes quickly and want a long-term role in a technical business environment. You’ll create clear product content, visuals, and guides for vacuum technology used in university and national-lab R&D across North America, while collaborating with engineers and product managers.
What You’ll Do
Technical Marketing & Content
- Create accurate product pages, application notes, comparisons, and how-to articles for vacuum hardware and instrumentation.
- Develop visuals—diagrams, annotated photos, infographics, short demo clips—to explain features and lab use-cases.
- Collaborate with engineers to translate specs and data into clear, customer-friendly stories.
Technical Writing
- Draft or update manuals, quick-start sheets, safety notes, and calibration procedures with step-by-step clarity.
- Maintain consistent terminology, units, and style; proof for accuracy and completeness.
Graphics & Digital Production
- Produce web and print materials (sell sheets, email campaigns, event collateral) using creative tools.
- Create simple CAD-like schematics for vacuum setups, fittings, and flow paths (training provided).
Procurement & Cross-Functional Support
- Assist procurement with spec checks, part cross-references, and vendor communications.
- After training, support technical sales by answering product/application questions and documenting FAQs.
