This is the Mk3 24VDC XDD1 diaphragm pump. They have a Pumping Speed of 1.8 m3h-1 (set by user to 2400 rpm) and with Ultimate Vaccum of <2 mabr. They are compact and efficient pumps, used for backing small compound turbomolecular pumps in clean, high vacuum applications, and also designed to be free standing bench top units. The Mk3 24 VDC version are designed to provide a complete pumping package that can also be used with The Edwards Turbo and Instrument Controller (TIC). This D.C. voltage motor runs on 24 VDC via a 15 pin DIN connector. By selecting the appropriate mode the pump speed can be controlled by the user to provide variable pumping speed or max pumping speed. The XDD1 Mk3 24VDC version can now be user set to run at a maximum speed of 1.8 m3h-1 running at 2400 rpm.

Another version of this pump is the XDD1 110-230 VAC and is also used as a backing pump.
